Needless to say, we are much happier at the new apartment. Even though there is not much of a view of anything, we are quite comfortable. It's like living among the people. Our balcony faces an inner type of courtyard where all the apartments surround it. It's almost like being in the Alfred Hitchcock movie "Rear Window" because you can see everything going on.
We discovered that there are quite a few grocery stores to choose from that are definitely less expensive than our original area. So that was a welcome surprise. No more going to the Bretxa Market, which is more of a novelty than a practical grocery store. So now the fridge is stocked with everything we need for a few days. It's a full size refrigerator too, stainless steel to boot. Life is good!
