Day 16 - Oriente Train Station

Day 16 - September 16, 2013

It was a day for us to find the Oriente Train station so we know how long it would take us to get there and the layout of the station.  This is where we will leaving from to go to San Sebastian, Spain for October.  We'll be taking the Tren Hotel (night train) which will be a new experience for us in Europe.  We've taken many trains throughout our different trips, high speed, regional, and city ones.

This station is massive, with one floor dedicated to shops and food. This area of Lisbon is more modern, like a suburb with tall office buildings and upscale stores.  Across the street there is a huge mall with another huge grocery store inside called Continental.  Of course, we shopped there for food we needed back at the apartment.  We were getting low.  But we needed some items for recipes that they didn't carry.  So, on the way back, I went back to the apartment with the groceries we had and Terry went on to El Corte de Ingles.

Our feet were hurting from all the walking we've done, so we knew already tomorrow was going to be a lazy day.
